Well I guess I need some help! I certainly did not like this episode. Oh well win a few lose a few. The important thing is I live to cook another day.
I have been asked by some of you, how are your ankles. They are both not so good. However the right one seems to be coming along a lot better than the left. Every morning it is a struggle to get going but the adrenaline and sheer will to win keeps me moving along.
I must say that Tennille has been very helpful almost motherly to me. When we are finished for the day/night Tennille is the first one to offer some help , she would get ice for the ankles or offer to make me something to eat( oh and the pancake cookies were great, ask her how she did that one) whatever it was she was helping me . I would like everyone to know how wonderful of a person Tennille is!!
Someone asked me about Amanda and her being chosen over the two others that were sent down. Well I think that was unfair but Chef Ramsay is the boss. Amanda got short changed on that one!
Send me your thoughts/questions and I will answer them right away!! Until next time!!
Happy Cooking!!
Chef Kevin

I’d like to try some of those pancake cookies, Kevin! Did Tennille give you the recipe??
Tennille at first seemed to be just a loud mouth but she is turning out to be a real competitor. She seems like a real nice person and whenever I have conversed with her on Facebook, she is always nice.
Keep on chugging Kevin and I hope you make it to Whistler!
Thanks,
Peter

By the way when my wife and I watch at home, the blind taste testing seems to be so easy. But I guess that it is not. Now I want to try it and see just how tough it is.
When they have the headphones on, are they playing music for you? If they are what is it and do you have a choice in what you want to hear?
I can see how you chose spinach clams. A lot of chaos and Chef Ramsey yelling puts everyone in a state of panic. Us down the street are happy you are doing well. Maybe you can get us tickets to the Olympics? I wonder if there will be good food in British Columbia? Do you know a famous Chef that might be cooking there? See you soon Kevin. Keep up the great work. See you next Tuesday for another viewing.
Great Job Kevin! Keep it up!!
New England clams probably taste like spinach, lol,
get up to Miramichi for the good ones haha!!
BEst of luck from China!
Hey Peter,
When I had the headphones on they were blasting some crazy thrash metal band. I could not think! I love old school heavy metal, helmet, maiden slayer,ect.. but oh well.
I would love to do one of thoughs with anyone to show it is a bit tricky especially the way they rinse the food and dry it. Thanks Peter!!
Hi Kevin!
When you mentioned your ankles, I felt I had to comment. I broke my left ankle two years ago so severely it required surgery. Right after, I was told to continually do all kinds of exercises to increase the flexibility and that has made a tremendous difference in my recovery. I’m always doing ankle circles, heel lifts and even ballet-type exercises. I still will use the RICE technique now and then after lots of activity. I just had one to deal with, I can’t imagine both ankles. Take care.
Best to you and your family and good luck on Hell’s Kitchen,
Barbara
Dear Kevin,
I would like to start off by saying you have been my pick to win since the begining and you have yet to disappoint. You always seem to pick up your team members when they are struggling and hardly ever get yelled at by Chef Ramsey. I must admit the spainach-clams thing was extremely funny but oh well it didnt hurt you. Great job and I hope to see you at the Whistler someday
Your biggest fan from Binghamton,
Matt
Hey Matt,
Thanks for the support !!! I have family in Whistler and have worked in Vail Colorado for a few years so the transition seems to fit!! Keep on watching!!
Chef Kevin

Hello Steven,
